Fayette Flaming Falcons Place 2nd in Chattanooga,and Are Headed to Oshkosh!
On Sunday March 22, 2009, the Fayette Pathfinder Drill Team placed 2nd in the competition held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The six-member team impressed the judges with their Drill Action. Front Row: Tunde, Femi, Darien, Rasheed Back Row: Jamila, Rachel, Jo Marie, The Pathfinder Directory Locksley LaBeach and Assistant Rachel Cole made the trip with the team. The Drill Team are members of the Fayette Seventh-Day Adventist Church Pathfinder Club. Pathfinders is a community service oriented youth organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, open to all children from ten to sixteen years and upwards. It was founded in 1907. Twenty members of the Fayette Pathfinder Club plan to join over 30,000 Pathfinders from all over North America and the world. The Camporee will be held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin August 11-15, 2009. Pathfinders will travel from over 100 Countries for the largest five-day Adventist Youth Event in the world. |
